DWS Printing installs Omet X6 multi-substrate flexo press

This year DWS, located on Long Island in New York, USA, is celebrating its sesquicentennial anniversary and was eager to invest in a modern printing solution to stay ahead of its time.

The 17in 10-color in-line flexo press is specifically engineered to print and convert unsupported film down to 12 micron. The Omet press has opened up avenues for DWS in the roll-fed beverage label market and shrink sleeve market. It's also used to produce select high volume PS work. The press can hit speeds upwards of 660 ft/min.
