BST subsidiary buys Accuweb
- Acquisition further extends BST Group's existing portfolio of control technologies
- Deal makes BST market leader for web guiding technology in the US
BST ProMark, a subsidiary of BST International GmbH, has acquired a 100 percent interest in Accuweb Inc., a US-based supplier of control technology for web processing industries.
BST said this acquisition further extends the group's existing portfolio of control technologies.
At the same time, BST has become the market leader for web guiding technology in the US.
Percy Dengler, managing director of BST International, said: ‘For us Accuweb is not just an attractive shareholding that strengthens our market and competitive position.
‘Accuweb and BST have the same origins and after more than 30 years are joining forces under the same roof.’
