Nuova Gidue boosts presence in North America as Lance Shumaker joins as its president for the region

Shumaker will be responsible for sales, customer support, marketing and operations for the North American market for Nuova Gidue.

Shumaker has held senior management positions with Scitex, HP Indigo and AVT, as well as most recently serving as vice president and general manager for North America at Scodix.

‘I have had the opportunity to join many revolutionary companies with dynamic innovations,’ Shumaker said. ‘Nuova Gidue offers label and packaging printers an innovative production solution. Its products are fully developed production presses, and serve a wide range of industry sectors focused on web printing for the label and packaging markets.

‘I am aware of the opportunities and very excited to help today’s printers realize an improved print quality, and the profitable impact, of Nuova Gidue’s technology.’

Nuova Gidue said Shumaker’s focus and experience will have a significant impact on both the market penetration and sales of its machines in the North American market.
