UPM Raflatac updates management team

UPM Raflatac has made a number of appointments to its management team following its adoption of a new global operating model.

To support the implementation of a new global operating model, a number of appointments are valid as of October 1

This scalable global operating model, as reported here, includes three strategic business units and three market regions.

To support the implementation of this change, the following appointments are valid as of October 1:

  • Mauri Suomela, senior vice president, Paper Laminates
  • Mark Pollard, senior vice president, Films
  • Jussi Oksanen, senior vice president, Specials
  • Mark Pollard has been appointed to lead the Americas market region.

Leaders of the APAC and EMEIA market regions will be appointed in due course.

Other appointments include Minna Katila as vice president of human resources, and Ulla-Riitta Unkuri as vice president of stakeholder relations. A new head of sourcing will be confirmed later.

Timo Kekki, vice president of business control and strategy; Mikko Kari, vice president of global operations and supply chain; and Jan-Erik Forsström, vice president of R&D, continue in their current roles.
