Sustainable packaging for Joi's plant milk
Herefor design agency creates new pakcaging for Joi in glass jars and compostable pouches
Design agency Herefor has created the packaging design for the brand Joi (Just One Ingredient) plant milk, focusing on sustainability and joy. The new design features less packaging, zero food waste and more servings per container.
It includes a fully-customizable and shelf-stable product, now available in glass jars and compostable pouches. Izzy, co-founder of Joi, praised Herefor for its personal, engaging, and thought-provoking approach to developing a brand that tells its sustainability story effectively.
Joi (Just One Ingredient) is planet and people friendly plant milk. Store-bought plant milk is 98 percent water. With less packaging, zero food waste, more servings per container, and a fully-customizable and shelf stable product, all consumers have to do is add water and en-Joi.
Herefor worked with the team on a complete rebrand with two important goals in mind: tell the brand's sustainability story in a clear and compelling way and infuse its system with joy. The design agency also took the brand's pack forms from plastic tubs to glass jars and launched its Oat Milk Powder in a fully compostable pouch.
'Herefor made our experience personal, engaging and thought provoking. They really understood our story and developed a brand that we love. The final result is so much more Joi-ful and we are so proud,' Izzy said.
