Color-Logic and HP combine for drink can shrink sleeve

At the recent Drupa printing exhibition in Germany, Color-Logic worked with HP to produce a commemorative energy drink can shrink sleeve demonstrating the technology expertise of both companies.

Discussing the collaboration, Color-Logic director of sales and marketing Mark Geeves said: ‘At Drupa 2012, Color-Logic and HP demonstrated, live on the HP stand, how the Color-Logic process can produce striking effects on decorative drink cans, using clear shrink sleeve material.

‘The shrink sleeves were printed on an HP Indigo WS6600 digital press. In just a few hours turnaround time from job creation to final product, thousands of sleeved cans were produced – each unique and printed using variable data. The printed sleeve material was formed and seamed on a Karlville seamer. Color-Logic is pleased to have cooperated with HP in this effort.’
