Domino UK acquires On-Line Coding Ltd

Following last November’s acquisition of Danish thermal transfer overprint technology specialist Easyprint by its parent Domino Printing Sciences plc, Domino UK Ltd has acquired Easyprint’s UK distributor, On-Line Coding Ltd. The announcement was made at the Total exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, where both companies exhibited.

Reading-based On-Line Coding has considerable expertise in the supply and support of thermal transfer overprinting (TTO) equipment: former owners Richard Judson and Mark Webb have over twenty years’ experience in the sector and the company has served as Easyprint’s UK distributor for the past seven years. Messrs Judson and Webb will join the Domino UK team as the company’s UK TTO specialists and the Reading facility will become a Center of Excellence dedicated to promoting the ease of use, ‘right first time’ and efficiency potential of this technology. 

Domino UK general manager Simon Cox says that the acquisition underlines Domino’s commitment to TTO, a technology that the company added to its portfolio with the acquisition of Easyprint.
