Portugal’s Crobel takes sixth Lemorau slitter rewinder
Portugal’s Crobel has installed its sixth Lemorau machine after investment in a CR 1000 slitter rewinder.
Based in Guimarães, Crobel produces labels, self-adhesive labels and cardboard products for a range of industries.
The Lemorau CR 1000 is designed to slit and rewind 1000m-wide rolls of any kind of flexible material into smaller reels of a desired width. Crobel’s machine is equipped with an automatic web tension control system, offering constant and taper tension, 12 sets of circular knifes, 250 job memory, paper break detection, remote assistance via an internet connection, 3in airshafts on the rewinders and unwinder, meter counter, total meter counter and reel counter.
Lemorau installed the CR 1000 at Crobel in the first week of May.
