Lscher Flexo trains seven new distributors

Following Lscher Flexo’s recent announcement of its focus on pre-press systems for flexo, letterpress and dry offset, the company has completed the initial training of seven new distributors of the FlexPose!direct laser ablation system.


Attendees of the course hosted on 6th-8th October 2004 at Lscher Flexo’s Thame facility were:


 



  • From France: Yves Ouaki and Patrick Moretti of Drytone Digital Color Systems.

  • From Russia: Dmitry Tokmantsev, Flexo Technical Advisor for Moscow-based YAM International.

  • From Turkey: Rolf Khle of Dereli Graphic.  Dereli will cooperate with previous agents Kosmig Avrasya Ltd.

  • From the United Kingdom: Sarah Newell of Bradford-based Dantex Graphics Ltd.  Dantex are distributors of Toray plate in Western Europe.  Dantex have worked with the company for over 3 years, previously as commission agents.

  • From Finland and the Baltic States: Barry Brown of KTA-Yhtit Oy.  KTA will collaborate in Finland with previous agents Flexica OY.

  • From Denmark: Anders Josephsen of Deltagraph, who will collaborate with previous agents Bie Danmark.

  • From China: Simon Lo, Lscher AG’s Sales Manager for China, Taiwan and Korea.  He was accompanied on the course by Mr TM Kwong, Technical Director of Jiu Heng (HK) Graphics Co., Ltd – a prospective distributor for China.

Drytone, YAM International, Dereli, KTA and Deltagraph are all existing distributors for Lscher AG’s offset products.


 


Diego Herrero of Lscher Iberia was trained by Lscher Flexo staff earlier in the summer.  Lscher Iberia will sell the FlexPose!direct directly in Spain, in collaboration with previous agents Dugopa.


 


Andy Gotch, Lscher Flexo’s international sales manager comments. ‘Since joining Lscher Flexo just before DRUPA 2004, I have visited and spoken with most of Lscher’s European distributors and have been impressed with their knowledge of, and enthusiasm to learn about direct-laser ablation.’


 


Further sales training courses are planned for other new distributors in the New Year.
