Mai purchases two more Edale Alpha presses

Edale has sold a further two Alpha compact flexo presses to Mai, based in Argentina. The company purchased its first press, used for the production of tea bag labels and envelopes, from Edale last year.
A few months later Guillermo Mai, president of Mai, contacted Edale again to purchase two more presses to cope with the higher volume of work. The new presses, which stand at a compact two and a half square meters, are the same spec as the previous – 4-color with water-based drying, and the unique 1.2m freestanding unwind, developed from Edale’s modular flexo press, the Beta – and will be used to produce the same jobs as the first machine.
Mai said, ‘The first press that we purchased was fantastic and better than we had hoped for, so when our business started to expand rapidly we made the decision to buy another two Alphas. I made the trip over to the UK again to see the machines in production and was happy to receive them just 10 weeks after purchase.’
