Omet details Varyflex V2 Offset debut

Varyflex V2 Offset is a press for flexible packaging and carton printing that is available in 670mm (26in) and 850mm (33in) widths.

Omet said its patented offset group with sleeves design offers ‘unprecedented print quality, maximum flexibility, improved accessibility to the press units and ease of use’.

On May 19, Omet will present a hybrid mid web Varyflex V2 Offset press combining flexo, offset, gravure and screen, and which has been designed to run at up to 400m/min (1,312ft/min).

The event will also see the introduction of the iFlex label press.

This launch is one of many events being organized by Omet during the week of Converflex, which runs May 19-23 in Milan. Omet is to attend the show, and on May 20-22 will host an Open House at its plant in Lecco for customers who want to watch demonstrations of the Varyflex V2 Offset, iFlex and other machines in Omet’s range, such as the XFlex X6 and XFlex X4.
