MACtac Acquires Multi-fix

MACtac Europe has entered into an agreement with Multi-fix n.v. to purchase its business and manufacturing facility located in Genk (Belgium). Multi-fix n.v., founded in 1949 is a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive materials mainly specialized in marking and decorative products. The company has global sales of 15 Million € and was granted the Belgian Prize for Export in 1995.

The combined companies will take advantage of complementary production capacities and will develop synergies in terms of product development in their core graphic product ranges : marking films, laminating films and digital products. This transaction will enable both companies to further develop their capacity to launch new products. MACtac and Multi-fix will continue to operate as separate entities.

The closing of the deal should occur in the coming weeks, subject to the approval of the competent governmental authorities.
