Multi-Color acquires New Era Packaging

New Era's joint managing director John Peat and the management team will continue to run the business and operate from its current facility. 

Multi-Color Corporation said the acquisition is part of an effort to place a greater focus on the growing healthcare label market, particularly in Europe. 

Nigel Vinecombe, Multi-Color Corporation president and chief executive officer, said: ‘We supply the healthcare label market in the US, Canada, Mexico and Poland, and see Europe as a large market we can develop, especially with the expertise from New Era.’

‘We are delighted to be joining Multi-Color Corporation and are looking forward to the opportunities this will bring,’ added Peat.

In other market news, Multi-Color Corporation recently acquired Multi Labels as it looks to complete its plan for wine and spirit labels in the UK and Ireland.
