Stora Enso launches MediaCard

Stora Enso has broadened its range by developing a single layer board with a double silk coated surface, known as MediaCard.

It is designed for packaging applications where a high visual appearance is required. Jonas Pettersson, sales director for Stora Enso Graphical Boards, said: ‘MediaCard completes our portfolio of products for brand owners, designers, converters and printers. Its high-white, bright and smooth surface gives excellent print results, making it suitable for a wide range of packaging.’
 
Manufactured at Stora Enso’s Uetersen mill in Germany, MediaCard C1S is one side double coated and offered in 120-300gsm, while MediaCard C2S is two side double coated in 250 and 300 gsm weights. Both are available with FSC and PEFC certification.
