Topflight Corporation appoints president

US-based converter Topflight Corporation has appointed Rod Stone as president. Topflight is a developer of pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, die-cut components and conductive parts for the medical, health and beauty, electronics and durable goods markets.
‘Rod comes to our business with the experience needed to lead product innovation and growth,’ said Jerry Anderson, Topflight’s vice-chairman and outgoing interim president. ‘His strong track record in operational efficiency and organic growth, combined with an emphasis on quality and customer focus will be the key assets to driving the continued success of our business.’
Stone has management experience in executive and leadership positions across a wide range of operational, sales and quality functions, as well as a strong background in Topflight’s key market groups.
Stone joins Topflight after serving as chief executive officer of Diversified Labeling Solutions in Chicago, Illinois. Before joining Divisified, Stone held various executive roles within the industry –including 26 years at Standard Register –and consistently delivered growth and improved margins of the business units and companies he managed.
