Possehl Group acquires Italian label manufacturer

The German conglomerate expands its labeling portfolio with the recent acquisition of Italian label manufacturer Etipack.

The recent acquisition has been finalized at Etipack’s headquarters in Cinisello Balsamo on the outskirts of Milan in Italy.  

Etipack, in its 40-year history developed into a leading manufacturer of industrial labeling solutions for international markets. It currently operates two production plants in Cinisello and Soncino, with five subsidiaries in Europe and North America, employing about 100 people.

Possehl, which operates a diversified group of companies globally, consists of nine distinct divisions. Possehl Identification is the labeling systems unit with around 750 employees and independent companies in ten countries around the world. 

By joining the Group, the Italian manufacturer, will have the opportunity to cooperate with other labeling companies and further development and growth.

Etipack retains the company name as well as the registered office in Italy. Furthermore, Marco Parretti, former sales director, is the new managing director responsible for the operative business of the company.
