Interview with John Ooi, founder of Materials in Works

Materials In Works, a Malaysia-based start-up, specializes in producing Recovered Cellulose Pulp (RCP) from upcycled label liners, which serves as a high-quality raw material for paper and packaging manufacturers.

The company also develops Processed Engineered Fuel (PEF), an industrial fuel derived from non-recyclable laminates and label matrix, which provides an alternative to fossil fuels.

Material In Works will exhibit at stand H20 at the upcoming Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025 in May in Bangkok, Thailand.
