Reborn opens new factory in China
Chinese label converting equipment manufacturer Reborn has opened a new production facility in Baoan (Longchuan) Industrial Transfer Industrial Park, Shenzhen, Guangdong.
The project was initiated in 2018 by the company investing more than 70m CNY (11m USD) to build a new facility covering 66,000 sqm with a 26,600 sqm production workshop.
The new factory will produce Ares series machines and is expected to reach the annual output of 1,600 pieces of equipment, more than tripling the current production capacity.
‘The opening of the new production facility represents a new era of large-scale production of Reborn, after 17 years of developing the business in the label printing industry,’ said Zou Ping, chairman of Reborn. ‘Mass production, in addition to meeting the company's growing business orders and customer needs, is going to give us advantages of large-scale procurement and centralized production, which will reduce the price of products. Our goal is providing customers with better value for money.’
Reborn also currently operates two production plants in Shenzhen, producing traditional high-speed die-cutting equipment and digital die-cutting machines, reaching the annual output of more than 500 pieces of equipment.
In 2021, the annual sales of Reborn had increased by more than 90 pieces of machinery, and the export volume is also increased compared to 2020.
‘In 2022, the company will gradually transfer the entire production to a new factory. The two old sites will be gradually merged and become new R&D, exhibition, sales and service centers,’ concluded Ping.
