Entries open for Label Industry Global Awards 2023

The search has begun for the leading innovators in the label and package printing industry, with six awards available at the 18th Label Industry Global Awards. 

The awards recognize those who have excelled in the sector through innovation and best practices in 2022.   

The R Stanton Avery achievement award, sponsored by Avery Dennison, is the oldest award and is given in honor of Stan Avery's values and pioneering spirit. This award recognizes an individual whose work has progressed and transformed the label industry across the globe. 

In 2023, Avery Dennison is sponsoring a new award, the R Stanton Avery team achievement award, recognizing the importance of teamwork in achieving a company's objectives. This award is open to industry suppliers, converters and end users.  

The R Stanton Avery rising star award honors an emerging talent in the label and package printing field who has the potential to become a future leader. 

The innovation award is divided into two categories based on company size. Entries must describe a specific innovation developed by a supplier or converter company in 2022. 

Meanwhile, the sustainability award acknowledges a new sustainable product or process introduced in 2022 by a converter, supplier or end-user in the label industry. 

The converter of the year award recognizes a company that meets certain criteria, including a track record of innovation, an inclusive and diversified workforce, a commitment to staff training and development and strong community involvement. 

Entry is free, and submissions must be received by May 5. The finalists and the winner of the R. Stanton Avery achievement award will be announced in June. All winners will be revealed at a gala dinner on the first night of Labelexpo Europe 2023.
