FTA and FFTA announce 2024 board updates
Paul Teachout of Harper Corporation of America was elected chairman of FTA’s board of directors.
Flexographic Technical Association and its Foundation have formally seated a new slate of officers and reconfigured its board of directors and Foundation’s board of trustees, effective July 1, 2024.
Paul Teachout, Harper Corporation of America, has been elected chairman of FTA’s board of directors and will serve through mid-2027. He succeeds Jennye Scott, vice president of global creative services at Berry Global, in the role she has held since 2021. Teachout has acted as chair-elect for the past three years. Establishing the chain of succession, Shawn Oetjen of AWT Labels and Packaging has been selected to be FTA chair-elect.
On the Foundation side, Laura Wright, CSW Graphics, continues her term as chair of the FFTA board of trustees. She has held the role since May 2022 and will rotate out of service in 2025. At that time, Bob Coomes, PPC Flex, will succeed Wright.
Three two-term board members concluded their service on both FTA’s board of directors and FFTA’s board of trustees in 2024: Jeff Dietz of KolbusAmerica/Hycorr, Jean Engelke, immediate past FFTA board chair and Doug Bartlett of All Printing Resources.
Vacancies created by those departures have been filled. Elected to their initial three-year term their initial terms beginning in 2024 are Eric Frank, senior vice president of marketing and product management at Koenig & Bauer, Catherine Haynes, vice president of growth and development at All Printing Resources and Michele Laird–Williams, director of global field marketing at Miraclon Corp.
