Jet Technologies hosts Open House event in Indonesia
The event marked the official opening of the company’s new Indonesian headquarters, featuring a purpose-built 500 sqm demonstration center.

Jet Technologies has held its highly anticipated 2025 Open House event in February in Jakarta, Indonesia, welcoming over 200 industry professionals from Southeast Asia. The event showcased the latest innovations in flexo printing, with a strong focus on enhancing efficiency, improving print quality and adding tangible value across the labels and packaging sector.
The event marked the official opening of Jet Technologies’ new Indonesian headquarters, featuring a purpose-built 500 sqm demonstration center.
This new space provides a permanent home for live demonstrations of new technologies. For this occasion, the spotlight was on the Omet X6.0, the Italian manufacturer’s flagship flexo press, renowned for its versatility and performance in the packaging industry.
In a world-first development, the press was equipped with the Versatex Print Bar, enabling real-time digital embellishment during the production of labels and lami-tubes, providing a glimpse into the future of hybrid printing workflows.
To emulate a real-world production environment, the Omet X6.0 flexo press was complemented by the JetiQ SRI450 slitter/rewinder with Luster inspection system, a Jindali shrink-sleeve seaming machine and a Flexo Wash anilox cleaning machine.
Beyond live machinery demonstrations, the Open House featured keynote presentations and technical workshops.
Esko delivered an in-depth session on Automation Engine, while Jet Technologies’ Marifel Dela Calzada led a workshop on color management, sharing best practices for achieving consistent color reproduction across various print platforms.
The event also included industry-leading material suppliers, such as UPM Raflatac, Avery Dennison and Ritrama, whicho contributed to both the technical discourse and networking sessions.
Jack Malki, director at Jet Technologies, emphasized the importance of the event: ‘Jet Technologies has been operating in Indonesia for over 12 years, consistently investing in the local industry by bringing new technologies to market. Having a dedicated space like this allows us to host larger, more collaborative events that are valuable for our clients. We were thrilled by the strong turnout and are already planning the next one.’
The large turnout underscores the growing appetite for advanced print technology in Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian market.
‘Our goal is to help our clients succeed, and there’s no better way than showing them firsthand how the right mix of technology and software can transform their operations,’ Malki concluded. ‘Accessibility and experience are key—and events like this are making a real impact.’
Jet Technologies will participate in Labelexpo Southeast Asia, held in Bangkok in May 2025, where it will showcase an Omet iFlex press in a 10-color configuration and will debut JetiQ, a new brand of finishing equipment developed in partnership with Polly Automatics.
