FIG brings latest flexo technology to Labelexpo Europe

Flexo Image Graphics, distributor and service provider of flexo presses and associated equipment in the Indian sub-continent, will show latest products from its principles including Rhyguan, Luster, Maxcess, Mark Andy, Kluge, Presstek, Rotoflex, Eson, and KDS.

Rhyguan 

Rhyguan will present a compact fully digital finishing machine with Corona, featuring full rotary flexo (flood varnish), digital die-cutting, and automatic slitting. The machine is designed for die-cutting without any tooling, without compromising on materials or traditional look and feel of a die-cut label. It’s a modular machine with digital embellishments for efficient finishing of ultra-short-run jobs without any tool. It’s prepared for a JDF workflow and standard QR code scanning for automatic set-up.  

For wine labels, Rhyguan will showcase its modular Plus 330 with a new fast silkscreen unit, silk foil, and a heavy-duty hot foil module with dual heating zones and constant dwell-time for reliable and fast set-up. For the longer-run jobs, the company will show 50 percent improved productivity by increasing the semi-rotary die-cut speed from 60m/min to 90m/min with an improved slitting rewinding machine with automatic dual knife slitting blades for wrap-around bands, a web-advance, job memory function and JDF. For the long-run jobs, Rhyguan will also showcase a new fully automatic turret with automatic glue applicators and a quick-change mandrel system. Visit Rhyguan at stand 9A16A in Hall 9.  

Luster 

Luster will showcase the prospective 100 percent label quality delivery system — LabelHero Series Inspection System. 

LabelHero Series Inspection System is equipped with dual-camera inspection system, which is 4K/7K/8K color line-scan camera and 4K/8K mono line-scan camera. It is engineered for security and variable data detection, such as barcode, 2D code, OCR, OCV, sequence number, and database matching. In fact, LabelHero series inspection system is a one-stop system for mass/small batch label production such as inline/offline inspection application, and NG removal workflow (1 versus 1/more). This system is ideal for flexible integration with flexo printing, digital printing, die-cutting and slitting, and variable type of production lines. Visit Luster at stand 3E61 in Hall 3. 

Mark Andy  

Mark Andy will launch a new Pro Series flexo press. The new flexo press is based on servo technology from Mark Andy’s Performance and Evolution Series. The new Pro Series has a modular structure which means that depending on the user’s requirement a pure flexo press can be upgraded with a digital toner unit and transformed into a hybrid model.  

Addressing the growing demand for hybrid presses, Mark Andy will also showcase its hybrid technology that uses digital and flexo printing with conventional finishing. Mark Andy will demonstrate live its Digital Series HD equipped with a KurzDistorun embellishment module. Also, running live will be Mark Andy’s latest version of Digital Pro Max toner hybrid press. 

Mark Andy will also showcase the expanding activities of its Mark Andy Print Products (MAPP) – a strategic part of the group that was established ten years ago. It offers a constantly growing and comprehensive portfolio of end-to-end technology for label manufacturing, including equipment and consumables, as well as service and consultancy. Eson Flexible Dies  

Eson Flexible Dies will show its product portfolio consisting of flexible dies, hot stamping forms, magnetic cylinders, printing cylinders, rotary tools, and sheet offset dies. 

Cutting dies from Eson Flexible Dies are made of high-strength steel using up-to-date CNC technologies. The company offers high achievable tolerances, service life, and economical operation when used on all types of cutting equipment (rotary, semi-rotary, flat).
