Jet Technologies and Omet broaden partnership
Australia-based distributor will now be representing Omet also in Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.
Jet Technologies has broadened its cooperation with Omet, expanding the dealership agreement into Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, building on the near-decade long successful partnership in Indonesia, where Omet has become the leading brand in label and narrow-web presses.
Over the years, Jet Technologies and Omet have been instrumental in showcasing their
printing and converting machines through numerous open-house events across Indonesia, establishing a solid footprint in the region. Demonstrative of this commitment, Omet is now positioned as the best-selling brand of label and narrow-web presses in Indonesia.
The expansion into Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia marks a pivotal step in the partnership between Jet Technologies and Omet, reflecting both companies' commitment to extending their reach and support within the Asian market.
Jack Malki, director of Jet Technologies, expressed his enthusiasm about the expansion, highlighting the company's partnership approach and end-to-end solution expertise as key factors in fostering growth within these new markets.
‘This expansion represents a fantastic opportunity for us to replicate our commitment and success in Indonesia, further solidifying our presence across Asia,’ said Malki.
Echoing this sentiment, Marco Calcagni, sales and marketing director of Omet, underscored the longstanding relationship between the two companies, which spans over three decades.
‘Our families have known each other for over 30 years, creating a foundation of trust that has been crucial to our success. We are excited to bring our collaborative efforts to Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia, and are confident in the continued growth and success of our partnership,’ Calcagni remarked.
In support of this expansion, Jet Technologies is set to inaugurate a new Technology Centre in Jakarta by June 2024. The center will feature the latest Omet equipment and serve as a hub for Southeast Asia, aiming not only to showcase the technology but also to function as a training facility for industry professionals. This initiative underscores the importance of continuous learning and development in sustaining the growth of the label and packaging sectors, particularly in a region experiencing rapid FMCG production growth.
The expansion into these key markets signifies a new chapter for Jet Technologies and Omet, reinforcing their position as leaders in the printing and converting industry while also supporting the dynamic growth of their clients in Southeast Asia.
