Dantex Digital expands reach in South Africa
Dantex Digital, a division of Dantex Group, has entered a distributor partnership for South Africa with Sabre Equipment, a Durban-based supplier of print products to the labels and packaging market, with an administration office in Cape Town.
Sabre Equipment’s sales director, Floors Coetzee, said: ‘As we are very active in both the packaging and label market and our customers are all asking about digital products. We have been looking for a reliable as well as an affordable digital press to complete our portfolio for a few years now. Dantex’s Pico range is perfect for our needs whilst the PicoColour as an entry model is the more established and proven machine with many successful installations. The latest Dantex PicoJet is a 5-color printing system that offers high quality, speed and resolution.
There is no doubt the future is in digital printing with the ever-growing demand for shorter run lengths. The Pico range, together with its competitive price position, has given us the confidence to partner with Dantex. The company has an excellent reputation as a supplier to the label industry and we look forward to creating a highly visible and successful partnership together in the South African market.’
Simon Cosh, digital business development manager for the Pico range, added: ‘Sabre Equipment offers great experience and knowledge of their markets and we are delighted to be partnering with them. We are confident that our digital products provide companies with perfect future proofing solutions for today’s challenges, with the Pico range offering high quality, efficient digital presses with a low cost of ownership. We have no doubt that through this partnership, Sabre Equipment can deliver success to label and packaging printers in this region.’
