Dantex relaunches entry-level PicoColour press
The latest evolution of PicoColour, retains the same footprint but is now equipped with advanced technology.

Dantex Group has relaunched its highly popular, small-footprint PicoColour press designed to provide high-quality printing at an accessible price. The modernized version offers a compelling technology for businesses seeking to enter digital production.
Building on the 10-year legacy of the original PicoColour, which achieved extensive global sales, this latest evolution, retains the same footprint as its predecessor but is now equipped with advanced technology.
PicoColour is both compact and user-friendly. It offers a fully functional printing press with unique features from the flagship PicoJet, including an expanded color gamut, superwhite, supertext and supertact, and a range of optional in-line compact finishing.
Built entirely in the UK to Zone 1 manufacturing standards, including CE and UL, the new model achieves print speeds of up to 50 m/min while maintaining a compact footprint suited for any production environment. With over 80 percent of the supply chain coming from the UK, the high engineering and quality control standards guarantee reliability and attention to build quality.
Dantex has optimized maintenance to reduce running costs. Developed as part of the broader Pico range, it provides a unified technology platform, simplifying training and support for customers managing multiple presses while improving overall production workflow.
Dantex has considered customer feedback, refining the design of PicoColour to print 254 mm wide. It now has a fully integrated finishing system that includes shuttle-based die-cutting, lamination, matrix removal, and edge trimming, all while maintaining its footprint. From a sustainability perspective, this overall design reduces material waste and further enhances efficiency.
With its official return, the industry has already expressed excitement, receiving an incredibly positive response from across the world. Pre-sales have already begun and the first deliveries are expected in Q4 2025.
Customers eager to see the PicoColour firsthand will have the opportunity to experience it at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona in September. It will then be available across our global demo centers for customer visits.
Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group, said: ‘The original PicoColour was a huge success, and we have seen continued demand, even in the second-hand market. We knew the time was right to bring it back, but this time it’s even better - modernized, efficient, built with the latest technology, and entirely made in the UK. Customers can feel reassured that Dantex’s quality standards and service are never compromised.
‘The response thus far has been remarkable, demonstrating that customers have been eager for a high-performance, entry-level UV inkjet press. With the new PicoColour, we are providing exactly that.’
