Durst Group branch in Lienz marks 25 years

he 25th-anniversary celebrations include a special exhibition of group portraits and street banners by the artist Klaus Pobitzer.

The Durst Group’s branch in Lienz, Austria has completed 25 years in business. Since its founding in 1999, Durst Austria has consistently advanced innovative technologies and made significant industrial progress.

The 25th-anniversary celebrations include a special exhibition of group portraits and street banners by the renowned South Tyrolean artist Klaus Pobitzer. This exhibition is a continuation of the successful ‘Inside-Out’ project previously implemented in Brixen, South Tyrol. Pobitzer's artworks, which will be displayed both in the city of Lienz and on the premises of Durst Austria, feature large-format individual and group portraits as well as technical details of the manufactured printing systems.

Headquartered in Brixen, South Tyrol, the Durst Group comprises over 20 subsidiaries and joint ventures worldwide. A significant milestone was the construction of the research center in the form of a ‘mountain crystal’ in 2009, which is one of the world's leading laboratories for inkjet printing technology. 

In the past 25 years, Durst Austria has brought forth numerous innovations. Notably, the co-development of Durst inkjet technology. This innovative strength has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. Another crucial factor for the Durst Group's success is the integration of software developed by the subsidiary PrePress Digital (PPD) in Lienz. This software significantly improves the usability and efficiency of the printing systems, enabling better control and management of the printing processes.
