Pulisi, Chinese digital printing machine manufacturer, has installed 200 units of its Aobead digital presses, which were first introduced in 2021.
This milestone showcases its robust capabilities in technological R&D and manufacturing and also signals its significant advancement in the global market expansion.
Headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, Pulisi has production facilities, branch offices, and showrooms in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Tianjin. It also has overseas subsidiaries in India, South Korea, and Vietnam, along with distributors in the United States, Russia and Germany.
Previously, Pulisi was a provider of inspection machines in the label industry. In 2021, it launched its digital press.
Lynn Lin, the director of Pulisi, said: ‘We initiated our digital press project back in 2018. However, with 12 years of experience in serving label converters, we have a profound understanding of their label requirements. A digital press that offers rapid setup, high cost-performance ratio, and minimal manual intervention is not only an effective means to enhance users' production efficiency but also a catalyst for them to explore new markets such as customized orders.’
The company's initial objective was to devise a solution that could comprehensively meet the majority of the digital label market demands, creating a product with enhanced functionality and cost-effectiveness, specifically tailored for label printing factory users who have entered the digital printing realm.
After establishing the Aobead Digital R&D team, Pulisi dedicated itself to the research and development of its first UV digital inkjet printing equipment. Commencing from the research and investigation of the first customer in Foshan, the team exhaustively explored and optimized the core aspects of digital printers, including production integration capabilities, production process control, and after-sales service systems. Pulisi has cultivated a highly professional and proficient technical team of 32 members and a responsive international sales and service network.
By 2024, Pulisi has developed a comprehensive range of digital printing production products, such as hybrid multifunctional UV digital inkjet printing equipment, digital foil equipment, and large-width UV digital printing equipment. For instance, its DPIM hybrid printer can achieve a printing width spanning from 220mm to 520mm. Customers can flexibly select functions such as flexo printing, digital foil/varnishing, slitting, laminating, and inspection units based on their specific needs. This integrated design substantially reduces set up time and material costs.
The 200 Aobead digital presses have been installed in numerous countries and regions, including China, the United States, Russia, Mexico, India, South Korea, and Malaysia, with 35.8 percent of the installations being overseas.
Its digital printers have garnered high praise from users. Yindegao, a label converter based in Foshan, after installing three of Pulisi's digital presses, noted that the printing quality and service speed of Pulisi's equipment have enabled it to produce each label as a product that meets customer satisfaction, thereby facilitating their customers' product marketing.
Looking forward, Lin has a well-defined strategy. ‘The accomplishment of installing 200 digital printers represents a crucial milestone in our development. We will persist in R&D efforts, enhance the intelligence and automation levels of our equipment to address the increasingly diverse and personalized needs of customers. In terms of market expansion, we will further intensify our global footprint, fortify cooperation with global partners, and augment our brand influence and market share in the digital printing domain.’
