Kongsberg PCS expands Nordic distribution

Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS) has signed a new agreement with Convertec Graphic Technics AB (Convertec) to expand its distribution offering across the Nordic region.   

The partnership will see Convertec - a leading distributor of large-format post-press cutting systems and precision gluers, label printing and converting machinery – selling and servicing the complete range of Kongsberg digital finishing and tools to its customer base in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Founded in 1987, in Gothenburg, Sweden, Convertec Graphic Technics AB has more than 35 years of experience in distributing and servicing machinery and equipment to the Nordic packaging industry. 

‘This collaboration marks a natural expansion of Convertec’s existing product portfolio,’ said managing director Carsten Vilain Jensen. ‘It positions Convertec as a highly specialized distributor and service partner of Kongsberg PCS for the graphic arts, signage, PoS/PoP and packaging industry in the Nordic countries, which is exactly the geographical area and highly specialized field in which we operated since our business began in 1988.
