Parkside’s Mark Shaw made freeman of Stationers’

Sustainable flexible packaging company, Parkside’s sales account manager Mark Shaw has been appointed a freeman of the Worshipful Company of Stationers & Newspaper Makers (Stationers’) at a recent ceremony at the Cutlers Hall, Sheffield, England.

Shaw is an active member of the Northern branch of the organization and was put forward for the accolade by industry peers. Stationers invited Mark to become a freeman of the company enabling him also to become a freeman of the City of London
 
Shaw said: ‘It's an honor to be invited to be a freeman of such a historic London Livery company as The Worshipful Company of Stationers. I look forward to supporting their role as a champion of the communications and content industry, of which printing and packaging are key foundations, as well as the valuable charitable work they undertake.’ 
 
The Worshipful Company of Stationers & Newspaper Makers in the City of London Livery Company connects, supports and engages individuals across the communications and content industries, as well as championing the advancement of the industry. The organization's members work in or supply the paper, print, publishing, packaging, newspaper, broadcasting and online media industries.  
 
Stationers’ strives to be the most influential independent business and social forum for the industries, actively contributing to these sectors' strategic development, success, and education.
