Kocher+Beck appoints agent in Australasia
German rotary die-cutting specialist Kocher+Beck has partnered with Rodden Graphics to distribute its TecScreen screen printing plates in Australia and New Zealand.
Australia-based Rodden Graphics is an established printing industry supplier in the region currently representing several manufactures, including Prati, Edale, Cannon and Codimag, to list a few. The company primarily supports innovative and environmentally friendly manufacturers to ensure its label and packaging industry customers remain competitive.
‘We are delighted to support Kocher+Beck in the Oceania region,’ said James Rodden, director of Rodden Graphics.
The company is going to add TecScreen screen printing plates to its portfolio. These are produced at Kocher+Beck’s parent factory in Pliezhausen, Germany. The stainless steel meshes are nickel-plated and wound. Then they are coated with photopolymer in UV-protected clean room conditions. This transparent base film is laminated to protect them from mechanical damage during subsequent work operations
‘We were looking for a partner with extensive experience and excellent knowledge of the label market who would be able to sell a high-quality product,’ added John Fehrenbacher, product manager of the TecScreen division at Kocher+Beck.
