Collamat launches linerless label applicators

The new applicators use direct thermal print on the fly with printer speeds of up to 12in per second and printer width of up to 4in and resolution of up to 300dpi.  

 

‘These linerless applicators offer several operational benefits compared to traditional label applicators such as zero liner waste and therefore zero disposal costs, 50-70 percent reduction of labeling stock, double operating time as it reduces the number of label roll loadings, variable label length on the fly, 50 percent less shipping cost for labels,’ according to Collamat.  

 

The Linerfree controller features a touch panel with features including OEE data, recipe control, alarm overview and diagnostic, and connectivity to ERP-systems. The applicators offer a range of software for label designs and print options using software such as NiceLabel, Codesoft and BarTender.
