The company has already sold nine presses to converters in Brazil, Chile and El Salvador.
Brazilian flexographic machinery manufacturer Etirama has launched SPS4, a new press developed for printing shrink sleeves, in-mold, wraparound and self-adhesive labels.
The new press was presented for the first time during the recent Flexo & Labels Expo in São Paulo, Brazil.
The new equipment, configured with a maximum material width of 430mm, is equipped with transmission through Schneider servomotors and features electronic print register adjustments, in addition to laser pre-positioning.
For flexible films, the machine is equipped with a chill drum and offers a hybrid drying system, which can be configured with conventional UV, UV LED and hot air technologies. The new machine also features a die-cutting station and efficient waste rewinder system.
The company has already sold nine SPS4 presses. Then will be installed by label converters in Brazil, Chile and El Salvador.
