Maxcess launches Tidland Advantage Series Knifeholder
Maxcess, a web handling applications specialist, has launched Tidland Advantage Series Knifeholder suitable for packaging, tag and label and converting customers who require quality narrow width slits.
Featuring minimum slit widths of 19.5 mm (0.768in), the new Advantage Series offers precision depth control adjustment for blade overlap and extended side-stroke distance to simplify the setup process. It is backward compatible with legacy W19 knifeholder systems and Performance Series Class I knifeholders and guidebars.
‘With the Advantage Series, we wanted to improve our narrow slit knifeholder offering to give our customers the slitting quality Tidland is known for at a competitive global price point,’ said Aaron Powers, global product manager for Tidland Slitting Solutions. ‘Customers will notice reduced downtime using the removable blade cartridge to make changes off-line. In addition, the blade cartridges are reversible, allowing customers to cut on both sides of the knife rings for extended blade life and reduced maintenance costs.’
