DG press and Siegwerk win Sustainability Heroes Award 2024
The two companies have won the award for their collaboration on the Non-PE Paper Pouch project.
DG press, in collaboration with Siegwerk, has reported that the Non-PE Paper Pouch project has won the Circular Economy category at the Sustainability Heroes Awards 2024.
The Sustainability Heroes Awards, organized annually, celebrate companies and projects at the forefront of sustainability across industries.
The Non-PE Paper Pouch, produced on DG press' hybrid web offset press, is a fully recyclable, packaging. It offers the same performance as traditional multi-material structures, but with the added benefit of full recyclability. All processes, from coating, and printing, to lacquering, are completed in one single pass on DG press’s Hybrid Web Offset press, streamlining production and minimizing waste.
In addition to this award, DG press and Siegwerk's Mono-PE Coffee Pouch was named a Top 10 finalist in the Gouden Noot 2024—the NVC Packaging Awards.
