Konica Minolta receives highest evaluation by CDP

The company has been also included on the Climate A List 2024.

Konica Minolta has been selected for the Climate A List in the FY2024 survey by CDP, an international not-for-profit organization running the world’s largest environmental disclosure system. This is the eighth time Konica Minolta has received the highest evaluation.

The Climate A List is composed of companies that have been recognized as global leaders in terms of goals set and actions taken to combat climate change and disclosure of information.

A survey was conducted on companies that operate in 130 countries and whose total assets are equivalent to two-thirds of the global market capitalization. This fiscal year, companies that were highly evaluated for their efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, mitigate climate change, and contribute to a low-carbon economy were selected for the Climate A List.

Konica Minolta remains committed to helping build a decarbonized society while achieving both business creation and growth.

Its goal is to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Scope 1, 2 and 3 by 2050 compared to FY2018 across the value chain in accordance with SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard.

The near-term goal is to reduce the absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by FY 2030 by 51 and by 30 percent in Scope 3.
