Screen Partners with Manroland Benelux

The partnership will see Manroland selling and supporting CTP equipment and Equios PTR workflow.

Screen has appointed Manroland Benelux as its official dealer for selling and supporting our computer-to-plate (CTP) equipment and the associated Equios PTR workflow in the Benelux region and France.

Both parties look forward to a long-term cooperative relationship enabling Manroland Benelux to offer the full range of Screen CTP and printing workflow products and ensure complete technical support for end users.

‘Manroland Benelux is a reputable business with nearly 25 years of experience with Screen’s CTP equipment through one of our OEM agreements. The developments in the market make this partnership the next logical step to support further and expand its installation base,’ said Martijn van den Broek, sales manager for Benelux at Screen Europe.

Werner Moriaux, managing director of Manroland Benelux, added: ‘We know Screen well, and this more direct relationship will only benefit the support our end customers receive. That we can now also offer Equios PTR, a complete PDF workflow technology, with the latest version capable of directly controlling POD printers, is an additional bonus. Both Manroland Benelux and Screen can trace their individual histories back more than 150 years, providing a proven model of stability, with their experience in the offset range and Screen's state-of-the-art technology resulting in a great, new offering to the market.’

Screen’s CTP technology has made strides in productivity over the past two decades. While early models produced only 12 B1 plates per hour, today’s CTP devices achieve over 70 B1 plates per hour - representing a productivity increase of nearly 600 percent.

While Screen Europe’s CTP equipment is now sold through Manroland Benelux, Screen will continue to sell and support the full Truepress range of high-end production inkjet systems for the label, commercial, and packaging markets directly from their headquarters in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.
