Australian printer moves into digital printing with Xeikon investment
Australian printer Label Factory has acquired a Xeikon 3030 Plus toner press as it adds digital to its production process.

Specializing in self-adhesive labels for the healthcare industry, Perth-based Label Factory has evolved its 30-year reputation in this segmented category of printing output with this move into digital printing.
The family-owned business has made the move to capitalize on the need to meet ongoing demand for four-color process work in multiple kinds – shorter runs and variable data.
According to Label Factory managing director Stuart Fysh, the firm's choice of the Xeikon was based on its ability to print on differing stocks without first having them primed.
Label Factory’s 3030 Plus is one of three presses installed by Xeikon since it converted to direct sales mode in Australia, with a fourth booked for later this year.
