Color-Logic certifies Case Paper substrates
Color-Logic has certified Case Paper’s Sonata Silver and Sonata Rainbow laminated paperboard substrates for use with the Color-Logic process in UV inkjet applications.

The substrates, which are available in thicknesses from 0.08-0.024pt, are applicable for folding cartons, as well as point-of-sale displays, book covers and other commercial printing areas.
Color-Logic said certification of the Case Paper Sonata substrates has benefits for packaging prototyping applications.
It develops color communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications; the Process Metallic Color System enables converters to print CMYK process metallic colors and special effects using their existing equipment and print workflows.
Color-Logic director of sales and marketing Mark Geeves said: ‘Our Color-Logic certification tests clearly showed significant advantages of Case Paper Sonata Silver and Sonata Rainbow laminated paperboard substrates when used for package prototyping.
‘Not only are these materials appropriate for use with the Color-Logic process on UV inkjet equipment, but their folding and creasing characteristics make them particularly well-suited for package prototyping.’
