1st HD Flexo certification in the UK

Flexo trade shop Waldo has become the first in the UK to gain HD Flexo Certification from EskoArtwork.  Since installing HD Flexo, the Lincolnshire-based company has achieved outstanding quality, improved efficiency and boosted productivity, and allowed Waldo to increase its offering to the corrugated and flexible packaging market.
 
‘We are delighted to be one of the few worldwide operations to receive this prestigious acknowledgement,’ said Phil Walmsley, Director at Waldo.
 
He added that HD Flexo has helped the company to improve output, while the result it delivers has proved a hit with brands: ‘HD Flexo technology significantly improves the quality of the dot on the plate, and can be applied to a wide variety of digital plates, and with less re-touching needed, our staff can process more files and the company can handle more volume,’ he said.
 
‘Ensuring brand consistency in print is vital as we work closely with design teams to advise them on the best way to ensure their creativity translates accurately onto the plate and into print,” he concluded.
