Bobst Bielefeld details next Open House

Bobst Bielefeld is to hold an Open House at its competence center in Bielefeld, Germany at the end of February where it will demonstrate CI flexo technology and present its latest technological developments.

The event, on February 25-26, will feature a print demonstration and speeches on process related topics to update visitors on the latest technological developments, similar to its Open House in October last year.

The live print demonstration at the forthcoming event will be focused on a Bobst F&K 20SIX CS, the flagship model of the platform-based F&K 20SIX series of CI flexo presses.

The model that will be on demonstration features a print width of 1,650mm (65'in), a repeat of 1,200mm (47.2in) and a speed of 600m/min (1,970 t/min).

It is designed for both solvent-based and water-based printing.

Also shown will be smartGPS, an off-press impression setting system, and shaftless winders, a 100 percent inspection system, a special slitting device and an auxiliary system for handling large format cylinders.

February 25 is targeted at an international audience with all presentations given in English, with all presentations on February 26 to be given in German. On both days, the formal agenda is scheduled from 11am to approximately 6.30pm.
