Dienes adds Vorwald to portfolio

Dienes Corporation designs, manufactures and distributes a range of products, from knives to automatic positioning systems, and services North America, Mexico and Canada. It is part of the Dienes Group that includes six facilities in Overath and Remscheid in Germany, Piliscsaba in Hungary, the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, Inowroclaw in Poland and Spencer, Massachusetts.

Dienes will sell and service Vorwald shafts from its Spencer, Massachusetts facility.

Bill Shea, president of Dienes, said: ‘The timing is right. We see our exclusive agreement with Vorwald as a natural extension of our commitment to provide the highest quality slitting products available to the paper and converting industries. In fact, we have been installing Vorwald shafts on our automatic positioning systems since 1999.’
