KTI features MTR Series turret rewinder

Available in web widths up to 22in (558mm), roll diameters up to 16in (406mm) and speeds up to 750 ft/min (228 m/min), the MTR Series turret rewinder features four spindles, an integrated dance for greater web control and PLC touch screen controls.  

In addition, a new roll closure system is available with in-line print and apply technology allowing customers to add various product and production information to the roll closure labels. This may include product codes, lot numbers, job numbers, date of production and more. Additional wide range of options can be added, including automatic core loading and a slitting module.

The MTR Series auto core loading offers adjustable spacing of cores, and a proprietary core hopper system that handles cores sizes from 0.75 to 3in. The machine automatically loads cores optimizing the process and eliminating the need for an operator to do so. This leaves more time for the operator to focus on machine efficiency and package finished rolls. The automatic core loading also allows for faster turret cycle times permitting shorter rolls to be run at higher line speeds.  

With the MTR’s small footprint, it can be easily integrated into most production lines.
