Maxcess acquires Fives North American Guiding

Fives North American Guiding has more than 50 years of experience providing technologies for the web handling industry, and is an application-focused provider of web and strip guiding, web spreading, and width measurement engineered systems, including custom designed detectors, electro-mechanical actuators, controllers, hydraulic power units and valve stands, spreaders and guide frames. Its capabilities include engineering design, installation management, start-up support, field service and training seminars.

The combined entity of Fife Guiding Systems and Fives North American Guiding will begin taking orders and providing service and support for both product lines immediately.

Maxcess chief executive officer Greg Jehlik said: ‘Today we are excited to combine the strengths of Fives North American Guiding and its talented sales and engineering teams with our Fife Guiding Systems family.
