UPrint launches AI-powered Strobox
The new device detects defects in 15 classes, ranging from color inconsistencies and mis-registration to subtle print anomalies.
UPrint Technologies launches Strobox, a new product developed by award-winning AI specialist NoLix. The device automates comparing an original PDF design with the actual printed output, ensuring quality control.
At the heart of this innovation is an advanced AI engine capable of non-boundary self-learning, which means the system continuously improves and adapts without predefined limits.
This allows the technology to detect defects in 15 different classes, ranging from color inconsistencies and mis-registration to subtle print anomalies that might otherwise go unnoticed. The system’s ability to learn and evolve with each print run ensures that defect detection becomes increasingly precise and reliable.
‘The Strobox represents a significant leap forward in quality assurance,’ said Edward Scheppink, CEO of UPrint Technologies. ‘By automating the comparison process and detecting defects with unmatched precision, we’re empowering our customers to achieve the highest standards of print quality, regardless of the complexity of the job.’
