Achertäler Druckerei wins three Finat Label Awards 2024
German label converter recognized for limited-edition Waldulmer Winzergenossenschaft Pinot Noir label.
German label converter Achertäler Druckerei won three prizes for its mini-series of two labels with motifs from pictures by artist Bastian Fiala, which he recently created especially for a limited-edition Pinot Noir from the Waldulmer Winzergenossenschaft.
Achertäler Druckerei can look back on an extremely successful award ceremony at the Finat Label Awards 2024, which took place in Athens. Companies from 22 countries took part in this year's global competition organized by the European association for the pressure-sensitive label industry.
The first victory was in the Combination printing process category. The jury was impressed by the technical realization that these labels were named Group Winner of Printing Processes - and also won the Best in Show prize, the first place out of all the entries, which is equivalent to the title of the European Champion.
‘This was a really impressive label which took the entire judging panel by storm. Offering outstanding visual impact, the label was difficult to get out of our minds,’ said the jury panel.
Frank Neumann, managing director of the Achertäler Druckerei, said: ‘We are incredibly proud of these awards. They symbolize the team effort that our company is capable of. It was only possible to realize this special label thanks to the diverse expertise of all the specialist departments involved.’
‘Of course, you also have to have the right customer in order to realize such an extraordinary idea together with them. In close collaboration with the Waldulmer Winzergenossenschaft and the artist Bastian Fiala, we created an exclusive wine with top-quality packaging that will delight red wine and art lovers alike,’ added Felix Neumann, sales manager at Achertäler Druckerei.
