AWA to host linerless label seminar

The one-day event, taking place on March 19 at the Park Plaza Hotel at Amsterdam Airport, is said to be the first stand-alone event devoted to linerless label use and technology, which is currently experiencing a resurgence of interest from end users in the light of a continuing focus on lowering packaging costs and reducing waste, as well as significant recent technological advances.

Material, technology and machinery developments will be discussed as part of the AWA briefing.

Speakers are to include: Tomas Rink, president at Ritrama; Prati’s Chiara Prati; Yves Lafontaine, vice-president for marketing at ETI Converting Equipment; Craig Bevan, linerless sales director at Coveris; Richard Southward, market development manager for labels at Innovia Films; Paul Beamish, managing director of Ravenwood Packaging; and Roelof Klein, commercial manager at MAAN Group.
