Bobst to host first open house event dedicated to label production in Brazil
Bobst Latinoamérica do Sul, Brazil, is to hold its first open house dedicated to label production, where an MX narrow web in-line flexo press will be demonstrated live.
On the afternoon of June 14 and 15, Bobst Latinoamérica do Sul’s production plant in Itatiba, Brazil, will host the open house, themed ‘MX – rentabilize seu negócio’, and dedicated to narrow web label technology.
The MX in-line UV flexo press is a machine dedicated to the production of PSA and paper labels. It features a fixed configuration for printing and converting in one pass to provide all the advantages of the cost of investment and short delivery time, while affording some customizing to extend the range of applications even further. This includes the option of single or double die-cutting units, or added value in-line finishing such as cold foil and lamination.
Eric Pavone, Bobst business development director, said: ‘The MX is a well-known machine that has built a solid reputation for its reliability, efficiency and output quality. It is already installed in several businesses in the region and we are looking forward to demonstrating it to a wider audience in Brazil for the first time.’
In addition to learning about the MX and seeing it printing and converting two different jobs at the open house, visitors will also be able to see its advantages put into the context of the latest trends and developments of other process related elements, such as consumables or devices. To this end, and following the successful approach of other Bobst open houses, participants will also hear insightful presentations by guest speakers from companies that are leading industry suppliers, relating their experience and presenting updates on topical subjects such as low migration inks, UV LEDs curing and cold foil technology.
