Brian Bishop is leaving his position as president of Gallus, Inc. (USA) as of October 31, with Christof Naier to manage the North American group until a successor is identified.

Bishop (pictured) has resigned his post at Gallus to take up a new opportunity as part-owner of a plastics manufacturing firm in his native Cleveland, Ohio area.

Bishop has worked with Gallus in North America since 2008, having spent nearly four years with Demag Plastics Group as well as time with Engel Machinery and HPM Corporation in a career spanning three decades. 

The career change will also offer him the opportunity to spend more time with his family.

Bishop said: ‘I regret leaving Gallus at such a promising time, when so many new technologies and alliances are being introduced. I think the world of the company, and know that with the imminent release of the Gallus DCS 340 digital/flexo hybrid press, the future of Gallus is brighter and more secure than ever.

‘Christof Naier, Gallus Group’s global vice-president of sales and marketing, is actively guiding the succession activities for the leadership of Gallus’s North American sales and service organization.

‘To all of our customers, I extend my sincere gratitude for allowing me to work with you, and I assure you that your current regional managers and the Gallus support staff will continue to serve you well in their current capacities.’
