All Printing Resources and Omet to host technology summit

All Printing Resources (APR) has confirmed its Fall 2024 Technology Summit, bringing together industry experts and leading companies to discuss the latest innovations, trends and technologies shaping the future of the flexographic printing industry.

Taking place on November 7, 2024, at Omet Americas’ facility in Mount Prospect, IL, the event will feature presentations from industry leaders on various topics, as well as live equipment demonstrations.

Attendees will gain insights on flexo to digital matching, RFID inlay insertion technology, sustainability, new screening technologies and the latest developments in workforce training.

The Fall 2024 Technology Summit will begin with a networking breakfast, followed by five expert-led sessions, each offering insights into challenges and emerging opportunities within the printing industry. The day will conclude with a live demonstration of Omet’s KFlex 17in press featuring RFID insertion technology.

Kim Madigan from Madigan Print Consulting will explore the challenges and opportunities in matching flexographic and digital technologies, offering strategies to maintain color consistency.

Dan Riendeau, strategic business unit director at Flexcon, will discuss key sustainability attributes driving consumer preferences and how businesses can turn these trends into opportunities for growth.

Haynes will introduce technologies from FlexoAcademy designed to address the growing demand for modern training programs that improve retention and employee engagement in the flexographic industry.

Scott Steidinger, vice president of technical operations at Tamarack Products, will present the latest advancements in RFID inlay insertion technology and its applications for enhancing production efficiency and accuracy.

Kariahlyn Lindsey, from Esko, will address some of the latest screening technologies now available and how they can assist all flexo printers improve quality and consistency.
