FIG sells two Mark Andy presses at Labelexpo India

The company is Mark Andy’s distribution partner in India.

Flexo Image Graphics (FIG) has sold two Mark Andy Pro Series label presses to Mumbai-based Barcom Industries, at Labelexpo India. FIG has previously sold Mark Andy 830, Mark Andy Scout, a string of Mark Andy 2200 and Mark Andy Performance Series P5 presses to Barcom. The company was the first to install a Mark Andy Digital One in Asia in 2018. It is a hybrid label press combining digital printing with in-line converting and finishing.  

Talking about the long-time association, Prasanna Sahu, managing director, Barcom Industries, said: ‘As a matter of fact, we started our business with a Mark Andy press. Since then, our trust in the brand has kept growing and FIG has become an inseparable partner.’ 

Gourav Roy, director, FIG, remarked: ‘It’s our privilege to be partnered with such an ambitious and ever-growing label manufacturing and printing company of India. Barcom Industries has made some landmark investments and milestone installations of cutting-edge machines from FIG.’

Apart from Mark Andy, Barcom’s other machines bought from FIG consist of Rotoflex inspection slitter rewinders with 100 percent fault detection systems, Rotoflex HSI label inspection, slitting and rewinding machines with 100 percent Nikka L1 inspection cameras and Rotoflex bi-directional pharma inspection system.

Barcom works with brands from FMCG, pharmaceutical, vehicular maintenance and liquor sector, comprising domestic and international brands. 

Sahu concluded: ‘We look forward to gaining new grounds with a focus on productivity and client satisfaction, which will be achieved through constant upgrades of our machine portfolio, such as the addition of the new Mark Andy Pro Series presses from FIG.’
